One of the vital ingredients in doing what we do is communication. A continuous dialogue between ourselves and client ensures that at every step of development from first demo to final master every single issue is listened to and addressed. This fluid approach can save so much time and helps ensure that both Encore Music and the client have a complete understanding of what is required in terms of tempo, emotion, instrumentation, description, atmosphere and tonal quality.
Audio loops for flash animation and websites.
One of the biggest growth stories of recent years is the internet and hand-in-hand with that the use of music as a back drop for webpages and flash animation. This music is generally in a loop form, the most common durations being ten, twenty and thirty seconds.
Every style imaginable is used for these. Record companies often have clips from their latest single. Marketing companies use pacey and go-getting styles to immediately impress. Independent and feature film sites will often have a passage of music to create a sense of excitement, suspense, horror or romance to coincide with the overall ambience of the film. Even individual personal sites will have a loop to convey a sense of fun, importance, grandere or relaxation, maybe to draw your attention to a specific element or just to provide a pleasant backdrop.
Flash intros are also gaining massive popularity, being used to herald in a site. Once again there is demand for every single style from classical to trance, from ambient to thrash metal, from choral to hip-hop. Each loop adding the finishing touch to a glossy impressive intro for a website.

Remixes and Orchestration
A large chunk of what we do is remixing and orchestrating either our own or other composers' works. It's not unusal for an artist or management company to ask for a remix of a particular song in a certain style.
Another example would be for a tv show or pc game, where a theme already exists but a remix or additional scoring is required to build the original theme into a certain scene or section of the game - maybe the original pace was too fast or the original motif was played by a large orchestra and now something a little more subtle is required.
Coming back to websites for a moment, we provided a short loop for a flash intro. We were contacted a little later by the client asking for some very short subtle reflections of the loop that could be triggered at certain places on the site.
Sync license and music library.
Most of the music on this site is available for sync licensing for usage in most elements of media from games to internet to tv and film. Additionally upon request most compositions could be edited, remixed or re-ochestrated to fit your actual requirement.
